SPO-DICON operates under the statutory authority of the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON Act), with a remit to procure, integrate, manufacture, and sustain defence and security systems for the Nigerian Armed Forces, Police Force, Immigration Service, Customs Service, DSS, NSCDC, and all paramilitary agencies.

He leads SPO-DICON's global partnerships, capital strategy, and programme execution across Nigeria, Europe, and South America.

Maj. Gen Babatunde Alaya
Major General Babatunde Alaya is the Director General of DICON, Nigeria's statutory defence manufacturing authority. He provides strategic oversight of SPO-DICON's sovereign mandate and ensures alignment with Federal Ministry of Defence priorities.

She began her career at Templars, one of Nigeria’s leading law firms, where she rose to the level of Partner before transitioning into the energy sector as a Director, leveraging her legal expertise to drive strategic decisions and oversee key projects.

Air Vice Marshal (Rtd) Ayoola Olasupo Jolasinmi is a highly decorated two-star General of the Nigerian Air Force with extensive experience in operations, leadership, and strategic defense planning. He held key command roles including Commanding Officer of the 97 Special Operations Group and Commander of the 75 Strike Group.
