Programme Overview
SPO-DICON's ammunition manufacturing programme establishes Nigeria's first fully sovereign, high-volume production facility for small and medium calibre ammunition. Operating under DICON's statutory mandate, the facility is designed to eliminate import dependency, reduce procurement costs, and guarantee supply security for the Nigerian Armed Forces, Police Force, Customs Service, Immigration Service, DSS, NSCDC, and all paramilitary agencies.
